Our History

As far back as 1921, a group of Christians led by the Goods and the Fisks, with others in the Walkerton area, began to seek a place to worship together.  They prevailed upon Rev. George Bender, then pastor of the Kitchener Pentecostal Assembly to begin meetings
assisted by by Rev. W.L. Draffin.  Church services were started in the unused Evangelical Church on Colborne Street.
In 1984, the ground was broken and the property on Hwy 9 was dedicated for the erection of the new church building.
By the spring of 1985 a new building was standing on the property with dedication services being held May 26th.

Our Mission & Vision

The mission of Walkerton Pentecostal Church is to love God, to love others and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify Believers and to magnify the Name of Jesus.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.
